Crestwood is a neighborhood of Houston Texas, located minutes from downtown just east of Memorial Park. Originally built in the late 1930's, Crestwood is distinguished from nearby developments by much larger lots, established trees and landscaping, neighborhood wide curbs and sidewalks. Because the lot sizes are so dramatically large, many residents have been demolishing the smaller 1930's style character homes with much larger, newer homes.
